I only gave one star because it’s not possible to give zero stars!Hyperdrug? Should be renamed Hyper HaHa Drug because the company is a joke! Ordered on 22nd December essential feed supplements for the horse. Wasn’t even shipped for 3 weeks then lost in the post. Been trying to get my money refunded for over a week now having jumped through all their hoops with regards to helping them claim through Royal Mail for a lost parcel. Now I’ve been sent a self righteous email from their “manager” telling me that “As with any mail order transaction, we do have 28days to get your goods to you or refund your money.” Newsflash - your 28 days was up yesterday so thanks so much for confirming that yes, you have breached your terms and conditions of sale! Shocking customer service to hold onto somebody’s money for this long and not even decent enough to offer an apology!Edited to add: strange how less than 12 hours after leaving this review a refund magically appears at just after 6am! A very sad state of affairs that people need to resort to leaving a bad review on here just to get their cash back. You knew full well that the items hadn’t been delivered as you had already confirmed by email that Royal Mail couldn’t trace them. It’s a shame that email correspondence can’t be attached to these reviews as proof

Placed an order on xmas day, 13 days later and all I have had is the confirmation email from 25th Dec. Sent an email to their "customer service" but from the looks of it I probably won't get a response judging by the other reviews on here so I will be on the phone to them tomorrow but I do not think it is unreasonable to expect a company that I am paying to provide a service to be able to do something within a fortnight, something other than make a multitude of excuses as they seem to be doing with everyone else, that isedit: so i rang this company, they asked for my order number......they then claimed that the order number did not exist.........after reading reviews on here i immediately said i didnt want to mess around, i will just have my money back, the woman i spoke to told me she had to put me on hold to speak to the director to see if they had received my money - i knew they had, as i paid via paypal so while she was faffing around with me on hold for seemingly no reason i decided i might as well log into paypal and start a dispute, it was immediately closed in my favour and they immediately refunded me. the woman came back on the phone and told me i will get a refund i just said thanks and hung upso, i will not be using this company again, i placed an order they claimed did not exist and it was only 2 weeks later upon myself chasing it up that anything actually happened and all that was, was a refund, so i would suggest that you shop elsewhere as i now have - unless you want to make a short term personal loan with 0% interest to this company, personally i do not care for loaning companies money so i will go elsewhere so evidently it turns out that the title of my review is accurate and in fact had i had forgotten about this and not chased it up, they would have indeed taken my money and ran

On more than one occasion I have had to contact this company for advice and on the last occasion to say I'd forgotten to put a stamp on the envelope. I had a call to say that they had received the prescription and everything was in order. I'm so impressed with the fact that they go that little bit further to make life easier. Many thanks to them and well done!

Ordered 4 items last week that all looked like they will be dispatched within the given dispatch time. There were no messages to advise on those items to suggest stock issues.Today I noticed that 3 out of my 4 items were marked as ‘back order’. I came here to read some reviews and admittedly reading through some of them I thought this will turn into a nightmare to get my money back!!I rang the number on the website and explained to them why I want my order cancelled. The person on the phone after some explanation on stock issues advised he will action the cancellation straight away. Five minutes after the call, I saw the money coming back into my account from PayPal. Only reason I’m giving an ‘average’ review is the stock issues should have been clear on the website to manage customer expectations.

I ordered on the 18th Feb, and I rang to chase on the 25th Feb, for them to tell me my order won't be dispatched until the 1st of March. Appalling now my puppy is without!

Really convenient to be able to order online. I generally only usually order ointments, paracetamol and ibuprofen. Orders generally arrive anywhere between 2-4 days which is great so don’t order if you’re super desperate

Hyperdrug were very helpful and I have no qualms with them......ordered very easily and returns and refunds dealt with efficiently......however the COSIPET dog suit was not ‘fit for purpose’...I had to order 3 to get the right size and then had to pay to have the extraordinarily long legs shortened..the suit lasted Only 2 WEEKS...8 wears.....the waterproofing inside just peeled away...the suit was USELESS!

I always receive excellent service from Hyperdrug and they have provided helpful support even through this past difficult year.

6 phone calls to try and find out where my order is which I was guaranteed would arrive next day. They ignore emails. The phone rings and doesn’t get answered. Elderly lady call handler speaks over you and hangs up the phone when she loses control. Have such a low google review for a reason with many customers saying their goods don’t arrive. They’re either scamming the courier or the customer.EDIT *after company response.Amazing how they can respond instantly to bad reviews but not emails. Wish I'd looked this company up before I placed the order. Lots of customers have had this same problem - taken the money, no goods, no refund and no help from Hyperdrug. Other customers have even named the exact lady I dealt with but according to the 'director' who never actually signs off with his name: she's a well respected lady in Teesdale. Good for her! If only she was well respected by the customers she's so vile to! Also, enjoy the spam calling from the 'director' when you upload a bad review.EDIT2*Company deleted their previous response. My property is gated. The driver has not left the parcel in my property, he has delivered It somewhere completely wrong. I would be grateful if you could be courteous to me and then it will be reciprocated although I don't believe I've been anything other than courteous. The fact that she's a woman has nothing to do with it so I'm not sure what you're getting at?To Hyperdrug: I'd be happy for the phone call (in which I left her shaking apparently) recording to be shared. This is my third order of Supersan hand sanitiser from Superdrug. It is a great product, meets all Government specifications and is realistically priced. We use it for hand, hair and surfaces. Hyperdrug communicate well about delivery expectations and we have never had a problem that necessitates contacting customer services!

Easy to use site, good value for money and prompt reply to email query


My dog is on Hills ZD prescription diet for food allergies. She favours the wet food, trying to manage with just kibble is a struggle. Altogether I've put orders in to 7 different companies for this wet food over the last 2wks but 5 of those were cancelled saying they were having issues with supply. I'm waiting to hear from another but I took a chance on ordering from Hyperdrug and her food has just arrived today. I'm so relieved and my dog is chuffed. Unfortunately I have noticed that it's since gone out of stock on Hyperdug too. I can only hope that whatever the problem, it can be sorted asap as many dogs rely on this food for their health. For now though, great service from Hyperdrug. I'd definitely order again.
